Charles Breaker (1906-1985)

A painter and teacher, he originally started work as a boat builder. During the Second World War he worked in the drawings office of an aircraft factory. Afterwards, in 1947, he moved to Newlyn where he founded the Newlyn Holiday Sketching Club. Later in life he moved to Penzance.
