Graham Sutherland (1903-1980)

Known as a painter for his imaginative landscapes, portraits and still life. During the 1930s and 1940s he was grouped together with the Neo-romantics. He taught variously at Kingston, Chelsea and the Ruskin. He became an official war artist and later famously painted a portrait of Sir Winston Churchill.
