Ethelbert White (1891-1972)

He lived in London but was at heart a bohemian who travelled widely with his wife Betty in a gypsy caravan. He worked as an illustrator, print maker and poster designer as well as in watercolour and oil. He was friends with the artists Mark Gertler and C.R.W.Nevinson. He was a regular exhibitor at the RA and RWS. A memorial exhibition was held at the Fine Art Society in 1979.
