I am an experienced auctioneer and have conducted numerous sales covering a variety of categories for both Sotheby's and Bonhams.
Charity Auctions
In my role as an auctioneer I have felt honoured to assist with the fund raising efforts of a number of charities. Some events have been very high profile and well attended (up to 800 people) while others are more low key but equally as worthwhile.

The Annual Spring Ladies Luncheon and Fashion Show at the London Mandarin Oriental is as strong as ever. Hosted this year by the television presenter and long time advocate of the charity, Mary Nightingale, the event raised a total of over £70,000.
Previous events have included the auction at The Poppy Rocks Ball, held at The Honourable Artillery Company on behalf of The Young Professionals' Branch of The Royal British Legion. Only in its second year the evening raised a fabulous £21,555.
The Chewton Mendip School Auction, held later the same week, was also hugely successful and the lots, including a Mulberry handbag and a week in Portugal, raised thousands towards new IT equipment.
On 4th March 2013 I supported the Spring Ladies Luncheon and Fashion Show, which took place at The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park. This year the event was hosted by Camilla Dallerup and raised a whopping £40,000 to continue Action for Children's work on child neglect.
On 29th September 2012 I hosted the auction after dinner at the Michael Varah Memorial Fund Ball, which was held at The Brewery in the City of London. The MVMF works with offenders, the homeless, young disadvantaged people; anyone trying to turn their face away from crime towards a ‘clean’ future. The event itself made in excess of £25,000.
In March 2012 at the Spring Ladies Lunch and Fashion Show, which was hosted by Emily Maitlis at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel raised over £30,000 to help support vulnerable, neglected and disadvantaged children.
